Registration and Tuition Fees
Registration and tuition fees are listed in the Enrollment Agreement. Textbooks are optional and only suggested with each class. As noted elsewhere, each student must bring or purchase certain professional, design tools. There are no additional or hidden costs.
All fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the class. Students wishing to pay all class fees five business days prior to the starting date must pay with a bank or cashier’s check or cash. Written receipts will be issued upon payment.
Refund Policy
A student may terminate enrollment and receive a refund of tuition fees paid as specified below. Registration fees are refundable in the case of South Florida Center for Floral Studies cancellations or application rejections. Any refunds will be made within 30 days.
Cancellations and Application Rejections:
If the South Florida Center for Floral Studies closes, cancels or discontinues a class or program, the student applicant will receive a full refund of all registration and tuition fees paid. If an applicant is rejected by the South Florida Center, a full refund of all registration and tuition fees already paid will be made to the student applicant.
Student Cancellations, Withdrawals or Terminations
A student applicant may cancel enrollment within three business days following enrollment (weekends and holidays excluded) and receive refund of all fees paid, provided no classes have been attended.
Three business days after enrollment, but prior to the first class day, a student applicant may terminate enrollment prior to the first class day by mailing notice of cancellation Certified U.S. Mail. The effective date of cancellation is the date postmarked. Under such circumstances, the South Florida Center for Floral Studies will refund all tuition fees collected. The registration fee is not refundable.
Refund Policy After Classes Begin:
For classes of 24 hours or less no refund is available once the class has begun. A student withdrawing or being terminated after entering the South Florida Center for Floral Studies and starts training, But before 50% of the course is completed, shall receive a prorated refund. This refund is based upon the number of clock hours completed to the number of total course clock hours and amount of monies paid.
The termination date for refund computation purposes is the last date of actual attendance by the student unless earlier written notice is received.
Cancellation after 50% of the program will result in no refund.
Refunds will be made within 30 days of termination or receipt of Cancellation Notice.
Make up time is available to students at a later class, size permitting.
The word "student" means the student who is party to the contract. Any immediate parent or legal guardian can also serve as party to the contract on behalf of the student.
